INT. SCHOOL - CLASSROOM - DAY
CLOSE UP - PAN -  THE CAMERA FADES INTO THE ALIEN STUDENTS FACE AND SLOWLY PANS OUT.
The camera fades in and pans out on the Alien Student. As the camera pans out the Student hears a loud noise getting louder and louder. As he hears it he begins to put his hands on his head as if he is in pain. The camera is focusing on the student with the background around his is a blur.
Alien Student, Male, 17, He is an ordinary 17 year old guy,is five foot seven, and wears glasses. He is wearing a jumper and jeans. He looks normal in every way even though he is part alien, he is hiding from his species on Earth.
CLOSE UP - CUT  - THE CAMERA CUTS TO THE ALIEN STUDENT FROM THE SIDE.
The alien student looks up quickly, the background fades out of a blur cutting quickly into the next scene.
EXT. SPACE. ALIEN GALAXY - LIT FROM STAR
LONG SHOT - THE MOTHERSHIP QUICKLY FADE INTO SHOT THE REST OF THE FLEET FOLLOW.
There is a armada of ships of all size and shapes, this includes; small fighter ships that are moving around the mother ship in the middle, there are also big ships almost shaped like guns which are surrounding the mother ship also however this is in a much more regular pattern than the fighter ships, There are also colony ships which look like they contain the aliens that are needed to fuel the huge armada, the last type of ship clearly in view is the huge mother ship in the middle that is being defended by many ships scattered around it. The fighter ships move into the larger defence ships as they prepare for warp. The ships move towards the the camera and warp away in a large flash and then transitions to another scene.
CLOSE UP - ALIEN FIGHTER JET
(VFX 1- ALIEN WARP)
The camera goes into the a fighter jet and pans around to be behind the Alien. The Alien is dark and you can mainly see a silhouette of the Alien. There is a loud whining noise that sounds like something is being charged up. You can see the rest of the armada of ships in front of his ship. From the furthest ships away rolling into the once closer all the ships have a white light in front of them. The main ship does the same thing as the warp starts to build up fast. Then it ends and the space ripple as they are transported.
(TECH) For the production of this we used two programs, Maya and After effects. We will create the alien head and body in maya separately and add it into the main scene with the cockpit after. The cockpit will also be made in maya and will have a green screen(Which was achieved with a Arnold skybox set to emit green light to the camera. We then added the alien to the scene and rendered out high quality image. We will then import this into After effects and keyed in the green screen and then added a particle effect to it which we will use a echo effect on top of this to get the warp effect. There will be a image behind this of stars and planets which was rendered in maya and added behind as goes transparent as the warp is initiated.
EXT. SPACE. EARTH - LIT FROM SUN
LONG SHOT - YOU SEE THE EARTH CLEARLY IN VIEW
The earth is clearly in view you can see a glimmer from the distance. As time passes the glimmer gets brighter until it's a bright flash and you see the alien armada come into view. The ships that were previously in the war formation come out into view with what looks like hundreds of smaller ships scattered in the view.

MEDIUM SHOT - FROM BEHIND A SHIP
(VFX 2 - SHIPS APPROACH EARTH)
The ships approach Earth. There are a lot of ships varying is size and style. In the center however there is a huge ship. This is the mothership, it is the largest of them all and has multiple ships surrounding it. There are cargo ships along with small fighter gets. There is a ring around Earth.
(TECH) For the production of this Autodesk Maya is used with an inbuilt Arnold Renderer that allows Rendering of each animation with variable lighting. Multiple individual modeled  ships using different techniques such as Extrusion and Combining, provided a variety of modeling techniques to work with in the animation. To animate each ship Key framing was used to coordinate each ship's movement and to create realistic animation. The animation was then rendered in HD-1080p Tif files and composed later on Adobe Premiere.

INT. SCHOOL - CORRIDOR - DAY
LONG SHOT - A SCHOOL CORRIDOR
The Alien Student runs out of the classroom, He leaves his bag behind him and you can hear the teacher shouting at him as he is looking out of the windows as he runs. He looks confused and worried as he runs towards the stairs and out of the building.
INT. SCHOOL - STAIRS
MEDIUM SHOT - BEHIND THE STUDENT
The student runs down the stairs as he runs down he looks out of the large window that spans the whole stairs. He looks for a second and continues running down the the stairs past the camera the camera pans very slightly following the student.
EXT. SPACE. EARTH - DAY
LONG SHOT - THE SHIPS FLY PAST THE CAMERA TOWARDS EARTH
The ships go past the camera as they fly towards the earth. The camera flips over to viewing the spaceships flying towards earth with earth glowing like a marble in the distance.
LONG SHOT - SPACE DEFENCES As a ships fly towards earth the defences in orbit fly into action destroying one ship
CLOSE UP - ALIEN SHIP - COCKPIT
There is a alien in shot from the front. You see the alien panic with buttons and lights flashing throughout the cockpit. There is a missile heading straight towards the ship.
LONG SHOT - SPACE DEFENCES The ship that we were previously inside of is destroyed. Right after all of the Earth's defences are destroyed.
EXT. CONSTRUCTION SITE - DAY
MEDIUM SHOT - STUDENT LOOKING OVER A CONSTRUCTION SITE
(VFX 3- MOTHERSHIP DESCENDING)
The mothership descends on earth with the student looking up at the ship in worry. The ship which we saw before hand is even larger dwarfing the nearby building making them look like specks in the distance.
The mother ship is huge, it’s twice the size of the school and the shadow envelops the school as the ship descends. Debri comes down from above sending huge fireballs down from the direction of the ship. The ship has trails from the engines creating huge blue flames and black clouds that cover sunlight.
(TECH) The environment was taken from a 3D Maya render then transferred into After Effects. The colour of the charging light changes via transition instead of an effect, while the laser and the light that produces are created thusly: The laser begins as a single solid colour that is animated via tracing a path, this layer is duplicated four times and feathered increasingly to look like drop-off. The light on the cannon is simply done via a mask that adds a colour as lighting to the scene.
The explosion and scorch effect was done by compositing a prefab explosion that was found online with some slight colour correction tweaks.
This could then be rendered from after effects and used in the production edit in premiere.
